Dr. Michael Klein, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Klein has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Anthropology. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine, he went on to complete a second residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Klein holds Boards in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Subspecialty Boards in Pain Management. He has practiced clinical medicine for over 35 years, and when formally evaluated by his patients by Press Ganey, he consistently scored in the top decile.
He has acted as a medical consultant for two Pennsylvania gubernatorial administrations and worked with several Congressman on multiple health care initiatives. Dr. Klein has held leadership positions in several extremely successful medical organizations. He has served as medical director, department chairman, and as an executive board member & advisory board member for several health care entities.
Dr. Klein’s passion for patient experience and advocacy for physicians was evident to the founders of Custom Learning Systems when he presented for them at their national conference and he subsequently accepted their offer to become their Chief Medical Officer.
