Chelan MacMillan

Director of Client Services

In 2003, Chelan graduated with Honours from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she earned her Office Administration Diploma.  From 2003-2005 she refined her skills on an international stage, becoming Executive Assistant to the Assistant Director of Technical Services at Octavia Housing & Care in London, England.  She quickly became an expert in conflict management with an outstanding talent for effective prioritization and an unwavering focus on excellent customer service. 

Chelan began her career at Custom Learning Systems in 2005, working in the Calgary office for three years before she met her husband, Brian, and followed him to his naval posting in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  In 2011, their son Mason was born, and a year later Chelan resumed her work with CLS.  She currently directs the Client Services department, working closely with Implementation Specialists and Auditors to customize and enhance materials for clients, develop original content, and ensure the Hospital of Choice - Service Excellence Initiative™ runs smoothly. 

Chelan also serves as the Vice-Chair for the Annual HealthCare Service Excellence Conference, assisting the Conference Chair with various duties including liaising with keynote speakers, technical content development, presentation supervision, and resource acquisition.
